If you want to carpool, meet at Lowe's in Ames at 8:30. We'll sort out who will drive and who needs a ride. We want to get to Des Moines a bit early to hopefully have a better chance at finding good parking. Those driving in the carpool will drop off their riders near the staging location, park, and meet us in the lineup. Afterwards they will get their vehicle and pick up their riders at an agreed upon meeting spot.

It's a very fun and energetic parade filled with lots of positive reception! Lots of fun dressup and bring your favorite sign to carry.

The parade route is mostly downhill on Grand Ave, but returning to the starting point is mostly uphill.
