Those of us in HD 45 are very familiar with the hard work Beth has done for us. Beth has represented HD 45 since 2005. She has worked tirelessly to support education, healthcare, workers' rights, women's health and many other issues that are so important to Iowans.

Nancy Fett, born in Cedar Rapids, has called HD 57 home for 15 years. After completing graduate studies in social work in Chicago, Nancy began her career as a professor at Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa. Nancy and her husband Scott reside in Peosta, Iowa, where they are raising their two very active children, Ben,15 and Addie, 13. 

Nancy has worked in education her entire career, and just completed her 23rd year of teaching in the Social Work Program at Loras. Nancy endeavors to instill a spirit of service and activism within her students, and encourages them to first seek to listen and understand. She is committed to education policy that addresses all level of learners, from Pre-K to skills training, because she knows that a quality education can unlock the earning potential for families and provide the building block for healthy, thriving communities.
